Accounting System Requirements

CatalogueLINK needs to be able to connect and interact with the accounting package for the purpose of importing (CatalogueLINK Upload) and exporting (CatalogueLINK Download) data. As this is the case there are also some accounting system specific requirements that need to be met on the PC that you install CatalogueLINK onto.

Some accounting applications require an ‘add-on’ that facilitates communication between CatalogueLINK and the accounting package. These add-ons are obtainable from your accounting package dealer / vendor. Please find your accounting package from the list below to determine the requirements that need to be met on the server / computer you intend to install CatalogueLINK on.

Advanced Business Manager (ABM)

  • Local or network access to the Advanced Business Manager SQL database

  • A licensed copy of the Advanced Business Manager Transaction Server Module

Attaché

  • Local or network access to the Attaché installation and data folders

  • A licensed copy of the Attaché ODBC Administrator add-on

  • The account used for the above must have a username and password configured and have ‘supervisor’ rights in Attaché

Attaché BI

  • Local or network access to the Attaché BI installation and data folders

  • A System DSN configured on the workstation hosting CatalogueLINK

  • The account used for the above must have a username and password configured and have ‘supervisor’ rights in Attaché

Jiwa Financials

  • Local or network access to the Jiwa Financials SQL Database

  • Client installation of Jiwa Financials

MYOB AccountRight Classic/Live

  • Access to a local installation of the MYOB AccountRight Classic/Live application

  • Access to a local installation of the MYOB ODBC driver software

  • Local or network access to an ODBC enabled MYOB data file (or cloud file if AccountRight Live)

MYOB Exo Business

  • Local or network access to the MYOB Exo SQL database

  • Local MYOB Exo Business client access

  • Straightsell MYOB Exo Business store procedures

Sage 300 ERP

  • Local or network access to the Sage 300 ERP SQL database

  • Client installation of Sage 300 ERP.

SAP Business One

  • Local or network access to the SAP Business One SQL database

  • Client installation of SAP

Text File(s)

  • Local or network access to the text files for use with CatalogueLINK
