Product Stock Levels

CatalogueLINK Upload can import and upload product stock levels to the website.This is vital if you only want to sell products you have available stock for. There are three different phases that a product can go through:

• In Stock: Where the stock is greater than 0 and the customer can order
• Out of Stock: Where the stock has reached 0 and the customer cannot order
• On Backorder (optional): Where the stock has reached 0, but you allow customers to order.

On Backorder is completely optional and can be enabled on a select few, or all, products. For example, on the demonstration website, there is a Smocked Cushion that is In Stock and can be ordered:

There is a Cornucopia Cushion that is Out of Stock and cannot be ordered:

And there is a Violet Cushion that is displayed as On Backorder as the stock has hit 0, but can still be ordered:
