What is CatalogueLINK?
CatalogueLINK is an application that facilitates communication between your accounting system and the Straightsell website. The application consists of two components, Upload and Download.
Upload Module
Upload facilitates the process of importing and uploading products, pricing and customer data from your accounting system to the Straightsell website. Upload also provides editing functionality so that you can; view, edit and automatically alter the data that is uploaded to your website catalogue.
Download Module
Download facilitates the process of downloading and exporting orders, customers and payments from the Straightsell website to your accounting system.

Hardware
Your chosen server / computer must meet the minimum requirements outlined below for install of the CatalogueLINK application
- CPU: Intel Pentium IV (or equivalent)
- Memory: 512MB RAM
- Storage: 3GB of free hard drive space for installation and operation
- Internet: Reliable, steady connection

CatalogueLINK is a 32-Bit software package that is supported on the following Windows Operating Systems and Architectures:

CatalogueLINK also requires the following third party software to be installed:
- Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0
The following software is optional and is used for support and administration:
- Microsoft Office (Excel and Access)
Configuration
- A machine with high up-time (such as a server) for CatalogueLINK Automation to run on a schedule uninterrupted
- A user account dedicated to using CatalogueLINK with initial Administration Rights to install the Program. Installing CatalogueLINK in a multi-user environment is not a supported configuration.
- Full control to the CatalogueLINK folder and sub-folders for this user account. This is detailed in the installation guide.
Other Considerations
It is possible to automate both the Catalogue Upload and Orders Download modules of CatalogueLINK for the purpose of regular automatic website catalogue update and order download and/or export to your accounting package. If you wish to utilise this feature it is strongly recommended that the computer chosen to install CatalogueLINK to be switched on as all times, such as a network server or workstation tied to a Universal Power Supply (UPS).
