Troubleshoot CatalogueLINK Download Automation

Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot Download Automation:

  • Confirm you can open CatalogueLINK Download. If you can not, please review this document
  • Next, perform a Download and Export. If you are unable to do so, review this document
  • Validate your automation settings by following this guide
  • Confirm CatalogueLINK Download Automation can be run via Action - Auto Download. It should display the following Window:


  • Depending on your version of CatalogueLINK Download you may have automation set up via a scheduled task to trigger the process of Action - Auto Download automatically.
    • Check that the Scheduled Task is enabled and is able to run under the user you are as logged in as only. 
  • Minimise all desktop windows, right click and select Run on the automation task to see if it runs. 
    • The scheduled task must be configured as per this article
  • Go into the CatalogueLINK log folder and sort the files by "Date Modified".
    • Open the "*_AUTO_PROCESSLOG.txt" files and review the most recent entries of the file to see what CatalogueLINK is reporting.
