Paypal Express Checkout Integration
The Straightsell system can integrate with PayPal Express Checkout if desired.
If enabled PayPal will be a configurable option for all customers and can be turned on or off in the Straightsell CMS.
The diagram below illustrates the checkout flow for customers via the Straightsell PayPal Express Checkout Integration.
Note: The Straightsell stream will utilise our standard checkout pages
Order flow step by step:
Straightsell - Specify the contact and delivery details: ‘Contact & Delivery’ page
Straightsell - Specify the freight type and payment method ‘Freight & Terms’ page.
If user chooses PayPal as a payment term they are redirected to the PayPal site
PayPal - The user must login to PayPal
PayPal - The user must enter details* for the transaction, this includes:
Payment Method
Final Step “Continue”
Straightsell - User will be redirected back to a Straightsell ‘Order Confirm’ page
User must press “confirm” to finalise the transaction
Straightsell - If the transaction is successful the system will display “Order Summary"
Contact and ship to information will be posted from Straightsell to PayPal and therefore the user will not be able to choose these options in PayPal
Important: Payments completed via PayPal will NOT be downloaded by the CatalogueLINK application
