To add a video via YouTube to a product page.

Find the video you wish to add to the page and copy the Video ID:

When using CatalogueLINK:

Go to Custom Fields. Find where the Custom Field “VideoYouTubeID” is mapped to:

When using CloudLINK:

In the Straightsell CMS go to CloudLINK >> Field Mappings. Find where the CloudLINK Field Name “VideoYouTubeID” is mapped to:

 

In your accounting, ERP or inventory system, update the required field with the YouTube Video ID. This example has mapped the Custom Field to Additional Information 4 (example using Sage300cloud):

After saving, perform a CatalogueLINK import and upload.

The same principles will apply no matter the accounting system used.

 

Alternate Method: If not using CatalogueLINK or CloudLINK to map the YouTube Video ID field to your accounting, ERP or inventory system.

In CMS, go to Product List and scroll down until you reach Custom Fields. Add in the YouTube Link ID.
