Free Gifts is an add on. More information can be found on the Straightsell website.

Free Gifts

The free gift addon can be used for one of two purposes:

Tiered Free Products
- Will offer the buyer free product(s) if they purchase a certain amount of the same product
- e.g. BUY 2 OF 'ABC123', GET 1 OF 'ABC123' FREE!
Free Products
- Will offer the buyer free product(s) if they purchase a certain amount of any product
- e.g. BUY 2 OF 'DEF456', GET 1 OF 'GHI789' FREE!

Navigate to Ecommerce > Free Gifts and select Add New Free Gift.

This form permits the following input:

TItle - assign a title for the promotion
Description - assign a description for the promotion
Promotion Type - choose from one of two promotion types
- TIERED FREE PRODUCTS
  - Ability to add a single trigger product code and three trigger quantities
  - Ability to add a free product quantity for each trigger quanity
  - e.g. BUY 2, GET 1 FREE! or BUY 4, GET 2 FREE! etc.
- FREE PRODUCTS
  - Ability to add a single trigger product code and quantity
  - Ability to add up to five free product codes and quantities
  - e.g. BUY 2 of ABC123, GET 1 of DEF456 FREE!
Start and End Date of Promotion - define a date range for the promotion
Active - define whether the promotion is active or inactive
Buyer Type - define who the promotion is available to
- ALL - all customers can access
- ANONYMOUS - only anonymous customers can access
- ACCOUNT MANAGER - only account managers can access
- SPECIFIC ACCOUNTS - define the specific customers you want to have access

Note: The multiple quantities checkbox allows the defined buy/get scenario to multiply indefinitely
