Alternate Product Category Locations Addon

This add-on will enable you to make sure products are seen by customers in all relevant catalogue locations. This is achieved via the addition of five new data fields to all of the products in your catalogue. These fields can be manually updated or integrated with your accounting system.

To configure products with this add-on:

Example product “Nike 14 Cleated Boot”:

Category Level 1: Sports

Category Level 2: Football

Category Level 3: Boots

You want this product to also appear in another product category 3:

Category Level 1: Sports

Category Level 2: Rugby

Category Level 3: Cleats

Therefore;

The configuration for the desired product would be:

sports;rugby;cleats;

Please note: ensure there are no spaces between semi-colons otherwise this will not work.

Locate the alternate category field in your accounting system and enter the required configuration, ensuring there are no special characters (eg. “- _ (“ ).
